Moin,
Was fehlt euch, was ist schlecht? Arbeitszeugnissen?
It is with great pleasure that I write this letter of recommendation on behalf of Mr. xxx born ..... He is a Master Student of Economics (MSc.) at xxx. I know xxx personally for several years.
He received his Bachelor Degree in Economics and Management, where he successfully participated in my courses and recommended himself as an ambitious and dedicated student. Furthermore, he wrote his Bachelor Thesis under my supervision about demand pull and technology push policies in the German photovoltaic industry. His well-written and outstanding thesis showed empirically that certain policies can enhance inventive activities. He finished his Bachelor Degree in Economics and Management way above average while at the same time studying Romance Languages and Literature with a focus on Spanish language.
Due to his outstanding performance, I hired him as a student assistance to support my BMBF funded research project (Projektbeschreibung). His
research tasks (i) included data collection, cleaning and analysis, (ii) literature review, categorization and management, (iii) collection and evaluation of empirical methods to analyze patent data, (iv) general administrative tasks such as proof reading and layouting of presentations and research reports.
xxx is a motivated, independent and friendly young man. He pursues his work with great enthusiasm and he is able to complete the tasks assigned to him reliably, and to our complete satisfaction in every respect. He is interested and open for new problems and topics, eager to learn new methodologies and fast in doing so. He is very well organized, diligent in his paperwork and research reports, easily reachable, and always on time.
I feel confident in saying that he is capable of handling any situation with thoughtfulness and maturity.
From this intense and pleasant experience with xxx I can strongly recommend him without any reservations for a position in academia or private companies.
DANKE!
