ganz kurze Frage nur: wie kann man die Anzeige des aktuellen Datums in der Ausgabedatei (auf der ersten Seite, nach Titel und Autor) unterdrücken?

Ich möchte aber keine separate Titelseite, sondern wie bei article bzw. scrartcl üblich, Titel und Autor einfach über den Haupttext - nur eben ohne Datum.

Nein. Benutze es aber noch nicht solange. Hatte früher ein anderes Programm (KBear), aber das gibt's bei SuSE 10.1 scheinbar nicht mehr.

eine ganz andere frage - wieso benutzt ihr extra ftp-programme unter linux? bei den verkrüppelten ftp-funktionen in windows verstehe ich das ja.

vielleicht ist es unter gnome anders - aber zumindest kde bietet mit seinen KIO slaves transparenten zugriff auf so ziemlich jedes netzwerkprotokoll (ftp, sftp, webdav, smb, nfs, etc)

ob man lokal mit seinen dateien arbeitet oder remote macht eigentlich keinen unterschied. wenn man große dateien herunterlädt und evtl. angefangene downloads fortsetzen so eignet sich KGet sehr gut - klinkt sich einfach in den konqui ein... und der konqueror als filemanager ist sowieso ungeschlagen.

ich hab mich das schon oft gefragt wozu sich leute die mühe machen grafische ftp-clients zu schreiben.

(edit: einfach mal ftp://deinserver.de in die addresszeile vom konqueror eingeben

Benutze weder KDE, noch Gnome und bin deswegen auf gFTP angewiesen. Ist aber nicht wirklich ein gutes Programm.

jo suche auch noch ne alternative... (nutze auch weder kde noch gnome...)

und wenn wir grade dabei sind: gibts sowas wie miranda auch für linux? suche schon ewig...und mit wine - ich weiß nicht - glaub damit gibts viel probs...

Ganz einfach - die Macht der Gewohnheit.

Benutze das so selten, dass ich mich noch nie wirklich um Alternativen gekümmert habe.

Gaim, Kopete, Licq fallen mir spontan ein. Hatte mittlerweile einige Multi Protocol Messenger installiert, benutz aber immer noch sucky Gaim...also wenn jemand was bessres findet, thx

Ich nutze Licq als IM, ist zwar recht buggy aber zumindest halbwegs tauglich für ICQ. Kopete gefällt mir nicht wirklich...

Miranda läuft "ohne gröbere Probleme" unter wine. Einzig der Sysbar-Eintrag is etwas "buggy". (Wenn man den Windowmanager das Fenster verwalten lässt gehts zwar, aber die Hintergrundfarbe des Icons passt nicht zur GNOME Umgebung.) Hab aber noch net viel Probiert ausser einloggen usw.

Edit: Naja,...wohl nicht so wirllich zu empfehlen. Crasht relativ häufig.
