Am heutigen Morgen wurde in Teheran verkündet, dass die nahöstliche Mannschaft Iran nicht an der Fußball-Weltmeisterschaft in Deutschland teilnimmt. Grund hierfür sei der Präsident des Irans Ahmadinedschad. Dieser darf aufgrund der derzeitigen politischen Situation nicht nach Deutschland einreisen. Als Konsequenz löste er spontan die iranische Nationalmannschaft auf und lehnte die Teilnahme an der Fußball-WM ab. Dies empörte nicht nur die iranische Bevölkerung, sondern auch den Organisator Deutschland.
Als alternative Mannschaft fährt nun überraschenderweise die Türkei zur WM. Obwohl das Team um Fatih Terim bereits in den Play-Offs der Qualifikation zur WM gegen Schweiz mit 4:4 (0:2) durch Auswärtstore ausschied, darf die Türkei als "besonderer" Gast Deutschlands teilnehmen. Die türkische Bevölkerung, insbesondere beim Gastgeber Deutschland, schrie erfreut Jubelshymnen aus.[...]
