Objective:
Use any civilization with a level 1 Home City and get to the Industrial Age (IV) as fast as you can.
Settings:
You must play a single player skirmish using a level 1 Home City and the following settings.
Map - You may use any random map that shipped with Age of Empires III, except for Saguenay and Carolina.
Game Rules - Supremacy
Starting Age - Discovery Age
Difficulty - Sandbox
Player handicap - Off.
Game Speed - Any.
Record Game - On.
Free For All - Off.
Submissions:
Send the recorded game of your fastest time to age3.community@ensemblestudios.com - please include your Industrial Age time in the subject line or the body of your e-mail, along with your username and the civilization you used.
The recorded games of the top 10 fastest times will be available for download once the contest has concluded.
Prizes:
Prizes will be awarded to the players with the top 3 fastest Industrial Age times overall and the player with the fastest Industrial Age time with each civilization. Prizes are subject to change.
Fastest Overall Times:
1st Place: A Gaming PC, Age of Empires III Watch.
2nd Place: Nvidia 7800GTX, Age of Empires III Watch. Age 3 T-shirt, Age 3 Hat, and a signed Age 3 poster.
3rd Place: Nvidia 7800GT, Age of Empires III Watch, and a signed Age 3 poster
Fastest Industrial Age time per civilization: An Age of Empires III Watch.
Deadline:
The contest will end on February 14 but the winning time must stand for 24 hours after the contest closes. If it is beaten, then the new fastest time must stand for 24 hours until a winner is decided.
Judging will be conducted by Ensemble Studios. All decisions are final.
