Auf der WCG 2003 soll es außerhalb der PC-Duelle jetzt zu einer wirklichen Auseinandersetzung gekommen sein. Laut cyberfight.org haben sich das fränzösische und russische Team mit ernsten Folgen geprügelt.

Der fränzösische Spieler aspeak_fr soll zu den betrunkenen Russen gegangen sein. Mehrere Male beschuldigte er sie, sein Handy geklaut zu haben. FM^Under sagte etwas auf russisch, was der Franzose jedoch verstand und dafür den Russen schlug. Der haute erstmal ab. Acht bis zehn Russen kamen dann zum Raum der Franzosen, brachen die Tür auf und schlugen die anwesenden vier Franzosen ziemlich stark.

Die Moral von der Geschicht: Alles ist auf Video aufgenommen, beide haben schuld, die Russen haben sich bei den Franzosen entschuldigt, die russische WCG-Qualifikation wird nächstes Jahr kleiner werden...

When FM^Under said some curse in Russian, unfortunately for him, aspeak knew some Russians and could define what he actually said, so for that he kicked Under in the face, Under ran away for reinforcements. About 8-10 Russian players came to French Team's room and knocked out the door, after beating hard the four French (2 of whom were actually Press) Russians decided to go back to sleep. Unfortunately, the hotel had sensor cameras which recorded the whole thing, and as for French team, they went for medical assistance and told the whole story to the Organisers and Administration.

Both teams have blood on their hands, both are guilty. French had started the fight, Russians were the ones to blame for crashing the room door and beating up the French. The main cause is of course the alcohol. The funny thing is that everyone was told not to drink alcohol in the Hotel, but noone listened.

Russian Team ruined the prestige of Russia, Mila Masina's career and WCG Russia 2004 qualifier, which won't be as big as it was this year.

We came to agreement that Russians will say sorry to French team, but you can't rewind what has happened. The previous Russian Team, at WCG 2002 was a lot better, not by the results, but the other thing...
