My English is not that good to describe exactly what i feel like i can express it in korean, but i feel obliged to write a few things.
I feel responsible that i need to restore the name of bsk and the aoc fans that they lost a little bit due to this occurence.
But before i do so, I want to write a few things about Arbalet:
I'm one of the persons who met him in real life, so i know a little bit more about him than others.
I spent days with him, and he had a good sense of humor, I didn't feel any arrogance like you feel from others who are rich.
He still pays alot of attention to the aoc community and other games, even though he left the legion clan 3 years ago.
I respect him alot, and this is not meant to sound flattery of to kiss ass, this is just my opinion (from my memories with him, when i met him)

Now BsK:
BsK reached the finals of WCL two times and once again we are on the Grand Finals
It may all look very nice and 'easy' to all of you but it requires alot of perseverance to achieve such results.
AOC fans who are interested in WCL will know that wcl has had quite a few problems in the past.
Any of you remember any other tournament having so many problems as WCL has? Argonaut's, BsK's, CsI's, FOPT which arbalet supported until fopt and legion had problems
Some didn't have any/a big prize, but they never had such problems as i see WCL has.

Of course it's a long tournament and it's not 1v1 tournament, team tournaments will have more problems to deal with. But even after 2 years WCL still contantly has problems, obviously this system has some problem.
As a conclusion , I really have my doubts in the ability of the legion leaders who worked for the WCL.

Of course men are blind in their own causes, so Legion players can't recognise the problem, however others can feel it easy if they check the legion forums or reflect it on other tournaments.
Everyone knows the sponsors of a tournament have the right to lead it , but even more important is their responsibility.
If the tournament has a problem, the admin should take responsibility and justify. But Legion admins refuse to take any responsibility for any accident that happened over all the 4 WCL's.
Other clan members wrote insults towards legion or the tournament, they should of course get banned from the legion site, but legion just does this out of defence, we all know this. Of course a few aoc fans with a sharp brain point this out and it won't happen again, but other's still get booted from the legion site and can't write anything on it anymore.

Anyone had any bad memories about the FOPT tourneys sponsored by arbalet? I have none, that ensures the justice of the FOPT admins.
But now?
Arbalet (who still supports this great tourney) sometimes takes critisism when legion admins make mistakes about the process of the tournaments.
Arbalet suffers insults because his workers (the legion admins) don't do their job right like faithful retainers.
Legion admins should say sorry from the bottom of their hearts towards arbalet and all the aoc fans in my first opinion.
Admins always want to get respect but no one likes to give respect if it's forced.

Finch only wrote a tiny bit of the entire story, few aoc fans (with a smart brain) felt that it's not grunt's fault that the trip has been cancelled.
I will write what happened in the last 3 weeks, and i will leave the matter entirely to your judgement.
I was starting to wonder when BsK reached the WCL4 Grand Final.
We have 7 players who got us this far, but unfortunately we only got 4 tickets.
We can't play with our best full line up at the grand finals, this means we spent alot of times for the second spot.
Awkward situation?
I asked finch for his opinion on this matter.
Finch said that "players who can't go to almaty can play on the internet".
Of course he didn't mention that all rm games should be played in almaty and dm is the only map to be played on the internet.
It was of course a guess that the reason for this lan was of course the things happened in WCL3, the lag problems.
But a player doesn't have to read admin's mind , so I couldn't know that all rm games had to be played on lan.
We, BsK, sincerely believed Finch when he told us that "players who can't go to almaty can play on the internet"
We started to worry alot after BsK reached the finals though.
Who will we send?

We selected from variety of situation and condition to choose which players.
Of course send the best team is the best situation, but finch said "players who can't go to almaty can play on the internet", and bsk gets 4 tickets for our efforts. So we can use them in any way we want, no one has the right to choose in our place.
The rules didn't mention "Grand finals teams should send their best players', nor that "players who can't go to almaty can play on the internet", i can only say that we can't just 'guess' all these rules, who aren't written anywhere. This shows how unskilled the tournament admins really are.
That's why we also wrote that "the rules had been changed"
We decided to give the tickets to Yanzi, IORI and Glenn at first, Poisn wrote this on the legion site.
But after Finc read it, he said "RM should be played on almaty and dm on the internet"
we were confused, all players who enter the tournament wants to win the tournament, we were forced to send 4 of BsK's best rm'ers to almaty cause of the rule change.
Legion wanted the information about who we would send very quickly, and we couldn't decide that quick, we were under alot of pressure. The only thing we knew for sure was that Halen couldn't come to almaty 100%.

Let's think.
Which clan wants to play grand final without their best player? BsK is just food for legion without the best player, so .. BsK should go to almaty just to get beaten?
No one with a clear view wants to go in such situation.
However... we needed to decide quick and find the best way to do this.
Finch Derptus and Poisn were talking a whole lot of time to find a solution. I want to thank them all for this effort, from my heart.
We decided to send the following team: Grunt Kkab Yanzi IORI, but we would ask Finch a favor to let halen play on the internet when we send this team.
Poisn had been discussing this with Derptus and Derptus told him it should be ok if Legion admins explain it to arbalet which he would do.
After 3 or 4 days Derptus told us 'halen or any other player can't play on the net because almaty has some problems about the internet"
Bsk was yet again discouraged. Can we win this without halen? We sure have a chance to win, but it sure does not help the encouragement to go to almaty.
I told Derptus and Finch: "BsK won't go to almaty if Halen can't play on internet with us"
Here BsK made a mistake, this is our fault.
However we wanted the best way for both and had a lot of discussion, and i told my opinion to Finch and Derptus as my friends , not as the legion admins.
And of course BsK said to please wait till we have decided it all, we both wanted to keep it secret to prevent rumors.
BsK decided it all after a few days.
Even if we lose, arbalet's supports a lot of things for us, and we respect that very much.
Grunt, Kkab, Yanzi and IORI will go to kz , even though we know without halen our chances of winning is lower.

If i go to Almaty, I need to leave my company.
Korea to Kazakhstan airplane flies one time a week. This means I need to stay a full week at kz. I can't get a whole week vacation from work, because i'm a newcomer.
Korea has bad times, the percentage of employment is really low... Too much workers are searching for work, if I tell them "give me one week holiday" I will get fired and they will get a replacement.
I will need to live from the WCL prize when i come back from kz.
My family emigrated to the USA so i'm all on my own.
None the less i decided to go to kz out of respect for Arbalet.
We told it to legion admins.
Two days later, legion told us :"The trip to Almaty suddenly is cancelled."
We asked why and the legion admins answered that Derptus told to arbalet: "BsK won't come to almaty probably if halen can't play on net" and arbalet gets angry
Probably because he supports too much things for the aoc fans, we all know this well.
The Legion admins said that BsK told us who will go to kz after the trip got cancelled, but it all happened before christmas and Legion posted the news only 3 days ago.

Now Grunt's situation:
Why didn't he want to go to kz with his BTA ticket? The BTA tourney didn't mention anything about players having to go to kz.
There are only a few people who have talked to grunt, and many of them who met him online don't really know how Grunt is.
Why? Because his English skills aren't enough to have any simple conversation in English.
He should stay in a foreign country for one week, totally lonely , I don't think anyone would enjoy this. Ok it's a free tour, but is it fun like that? I don't think so
Of course Arbalet would provide him with an translator, but that's not fun either, to always talk to the translator.
Grunt won't go because he doesn't respect arbalet? I don't think so:
Grunt already refused many invited tours in the past. When he went to taiwan, france, USA and Spain he always brought a friend when he agreed on the invitation. If he couldn't get a friend he would kindly refuse the invitatino.
It's a pitty that he can't communicate in English.
The Ticket that a Player earned from his own efforts, is that ticket for the player?.. or for the man who provides him the ticket? Of course i never blame Arbalet, however i'm just stating facts.

In 2003 Grunt won a taiwan tourney, and one of the tournament sponsors was a taiwanese airplane company and they gave him plane tickets to tour around the world. But Grunt gave it to his taiwanese friend (he too played alot of aoc, he used the nick IamJordan), becuase Grunt can't speak english enough for such a tour. I am sure that people know how expensive such tickets are.


Also, Grunt has a job, he is a pro-gamer. WCL Prize is big if you get number one or two spot, but it's a long period, big amounts of games to be played, alot of practicing time, in the end it's not that much of money to live from. Grunt has a job to earn money to live , he is playing a broadcasting tournament (tv tournament)
All aoc fans know that Grunt doesn't only play aoc, he plays alot of games..(not sc..and cs) and he enters all tournaments.
But if Grunt goes to Almaty he will has big problem to aoe3 season from the Broadcasting tournament
Legion said Grunt didn't respect Arbalet, are you still sure of that?

Finally he decided to go to almaty, Grunt accomplished his original intention, but as you can see of course it takes a lot of time to think about.
But even if we gave in so much to satisfy Finch, it didn't matter.
We choosed what they wanted, but Grunt is still getting insults and responsibility, and also BsK...

Finally i would like to add it's not only Finch and Derptus' fault, it's both.
But Legion made big mistakes this time, they let grunt and halen be the ones to blame and they want to look like legion is pure innocent.

BsK team really respects Arbalet, I don't just say this because im forced to do it, I speak from the heart, No one can blame him. He is the leader of aoc (notice of aoc, not only of legion)
And one more thing: Why do people always go mad about legion, are people angry at arbalet, do people disrespect him?
I'm quite sure it's not that, people are angry with legion admins, but the legion admins always misuse this to manipulate and say they disrespect Arbalet, but of course they don't.

ALL the people expect a great tournament , sponsored by Arbalet, and all the aoc fans thank him for this, they all know well that this keeps aoc alive and active. But Legion admins sometimes made wcl look unfair and a bad tournament.
The point of the topic on the legion site is "Why is the trip cancelled?", and why are there so many people yet again angry with the admins, im sure it must have some reason.

I will accept any insult towards me for this writing (or from people who just hate me), but please don't insult and fight to others if you are an aoc fan, especially the sponsor.

P.S. People are having a few things confused in my opinion:
Arbalet and Markiza left Legion Clan a few years ago, they used legion nick but aren't legion anymore now.
So i think that they are just a great supporter to the entire aoc community. (thats why i said that all aoc player cant blame him)

We'll be hosting the WCL4 Grand Finals Online on January 28th (Saturday) starting at 15:30gmt.
If another pack is needed, it'll be played then on January 29th (Sunday) starting at 15:30gmt as well.

The order the maps should be played, according to our rules, is:

1st - 2x2 DM_GA
2nd - 3x3 UltraRandom_v4
3rd- Home map of the 1st game's loser
4th- Home map of the 1st game's winner
5th - 3x3 Fortress Regicide
6th - 3x3 Full Random
7th - 3v3 Arabia

Note that ALL the maps MUST be played, no matter what the result is. If a clan just resigns after the result is known, such clan will NOT get any prize.

We decided to put DM as the 1st game of the set, because the way it was (as the last map), there was a risk of it not being important at all (before you randomly flame, this decision was made by me and Derptus).
